Waxing Etiquette

When getting waxed, it’s important to arrive clean and exfoliated, respect the technician's expertise, and maintain proper post-care after your treatment.

Before Your Treatment

Ideally you should gently exfoliate and moisturise the area that is going to be waxed, for a couple of days prior to your appointment.

Code of Conduct

I provide a professional waxing service and nothing more.  Any inappropriate language or behaviour will not be tolerated. You will be asked to pay and leave immediately (even if you are still covered in wax!).

Hygiene - Yours and Mine

Please shower on the day of your appointment.

I sanitise my hands before and after each treatment, and I always wear a new pair of disposable gloves with each new client.  The bed is cleaned with antibacterial cleaner between each client.  The bin in the room is emptied between each client and replaced with a fresh bin liner.

I never “double dip”. This means that when I’m waxing you, only a clean spatula gets dipped into the wax pot. Once it has touched your skin it is thrown away, and a new clean spatula is used for the next application of wax. This ensures that there are no bits of you, or any of my other clients, floating around in my wax!
