Waxing is the best form of hair removal, so if you’re thinking of getting into a waxing regime, and you’re looking for a waxing specialist, then read on!  I can’t believe it’s been two years since I relocated my waxing business from Ormskirk to Burscough and since moving here, my new set up has enabled Wicked Wax to go from strength to strength.

I’m on Junction Lane in Burscough and most of my clients travel to me from Ormskirk, Skelmersdale, Parbold, Rufford, Tarleton and the surrounding areas. If you’re arriving by car I have loads of free parking right outside my door. I’m on several main bus routes and the train links in Burscough mean that I have some clients travelling from as far as Liverpool, Preston and Warrington.

A Waxing Salon With A Difference

You’ll spot my house as you’re driving or walking along Junction Lane – you can’t miss it, it’s the one with the big WW sign outside the gates! I don’t work from a spare room inside my house – I have a purpose built waxing studio in my back garden which is private and discreet. With a waiting room, a kitchen where you can help yourself to hot or cold drinks, a toilet with freshen-up wipes and sanitary items available, free WiFi, air conditioning… it really is everything you’d expect from visiting a town centre salon, with all the additional benefits of a home salon.

Waxing Products And Technique

In my years of waxing experience I can honestly say I’ve tried every wax out there, and when new waxes are released I’m one of the first to give them a go. So I can be confident that the wax I use every day is the best. It’s probably one of the most expensive products available and I choose quality over price every time.

With waxing experience comes expertise, and over the years I’ve developed my own wax technique with loads of little wax tips and tricks to make sure your treatment is probably the fastest, most thorough, most comfortable intimate waxing treatment you’ll ever have.

Online Booking

My diary couldn’t be easier to check and use, you can see my availability up to 4 weeks ahead, book yourself in, and you’ll get a text reminder about your appointment. You can log in and check what date and time you’re booked in and move or amend your appointment.  Once you’re in I recommend re-booking your next appointment with me before you leave.

You’ll get a warm welcome here. Your initial booking email will give you details of what to do on arrival. So once you get into the room I’ll ask you to complete a consultation form on my iPad, this is just to check you’re not on any medications or have any issues that mean you shouldn’t be waxed. When that’s done, I’ll chat through what exactly the treatment entails just to make sure you know your brazilian wax from your bikini wax and you’ve booked the treatment you actually want, and then it’s knickers off – yours, not mine – on the bed, and before you know it we’re talking about work, kids, what we’re watching on Netflix, what’s for tea, plans for the weekend, upcoming holidays, the list is endless. I’m naturally nosey and I’m never short of something to say so don’t worry, your appointment won’t be carried out in silence, because that’d be reaaally awkward!

Waxing is my life!

So a bit about me. It’s hard to write this without it sounding like a dating profile! I’m 41 years old, I’m married with a 16 year old son, a cat who you might see sunning himself in the front garden, and a crazy miniature schnauzer dog. I love cooking, eating, reading, walking, true crime podcasts, politics, rock music, celeb gossip, I’m in to Yoga but no exercise more strenuous than that. I love waxing, I’m obsessed with roots (anyone that follows me on Insta will know this) and without wanting to sound too cheesy I feel really lucky that I love my work and meet some wonderful people along the way.
